Health Cleaning and Surface Disinfection of a patient’s room

Health Cleaning and Sanitation procedures are carried out, to national and international standards. You will be able to identify with the Médica Sur seal.

There are sinks on the sides of the beds in all our rooms, exclusive for health personnel only

For your health and safety health personal wash, there hands before and after any physical examination with the patient.

Médica Sur Bathrooms

For your safety, the bathrooms are equipped with:

• Emergency cord line on one side of the toilet bowls and showers, to alert the nursing station in case of falls or need for assistance.
• Handrails in the shower and one side of the toilets, to prevent falls.
• Health cleaning and sanitizing seals for sinks and toilet bowls.
• Non-slip and hypoallergenic floors.

Alarm indicator

This alarm indicator will let you know if a nurse is in the room performing a procedure with the patient or if the patient needs help.

Visual Alerts About Patient´s Safety

Which allow the medical team:

• Link patient´s information to the medical digital file through QR code.
• Patient´s allergies to any medication or the administration of high risks drugs.
• The need for the health Staff to use protective equipment before entering the room.
• The patient’s risk level of the fallings.
• To know the patient´s ID basic information.

Patient information panel

This panel is aimed for our medical team for our patients and their families and this will provide the following information.

• Activities and nutrition daily plan.
• Contact details of the responsible family member.
• Contact details of your personal advisor.
• General Services & Housekeeping contact.
• Name of the Nurse on duty.
• Name of treating Physician.

High Technology bed with quality comfort

Our Hill room model VersaCare bed enables high quality patient care, with advanced solutions that support safety, mobilization and skin care in our patients. The bed also assists the medical and nursing Staff with daily care to help make their job easier.

• Communication controls with the nursing team, maintenance and nutrition Staff.
• Cord line for emergencies. If you activate it, an alarm is activated as well in the nurses´ station.
• Equipped with a system that detects if the patient tries to get off it, and activates an alert in the nurses´ station, which improves safety for patients with movement limitations.

Médica Sur cares about the environment with a culture of waste separation

In our rooms you will find different colored containers for storing garbage and waste. (organic, inorganic, special waste).
